Wakuu is an astronomer. During the week, he works and lives at the observatory. He spends the weekends at the lighthouse, where his dad lives.

In-game Description

Wakuu is a character in Coral Island and one of the 28 available marriage candidates. He is an astronomer who works and resides in the local Observatory.

Personality

Wakuu is a polite and sensitive individual, yet not very sociable. He feels that the days he spent living on a boat made him lack social skills and thus does not have many friends. Due to this as well, he is not often seen in cutscenes with a lot of people, such as when the demonstration took place in front of Pufferfish office. Despite preferring solitude, he gets along mostly well with Chaem who lives together with him in the Observatory.

Relationships

Wakuu is the son of Wataru. They lived together on a boat since Wataru works as a fisherman before moving into the Lighthouse. They have a love-hate relationship due to Wataru disapproval of his son's life choice to work in astrophysics, which the former often expresses harshly thanks to his gruff mannerisms. Now that Wakuu is an adult, he moved out and started living with Chaem in the Observatory. However, he still worries that his father might feel lonely, so he spends time eating out with him at the Beach Shack and stay the night at the Lighthouse on the weekends. Wakuu and Chaem bicker from time to time due to clashing personalities and habits, but he also trusts her enough to confide in her about his relationship with Wataru.
