Dinda and Joko are sitting at their living room table, eating breakfast. Surya walks into the room and approaches the table.

Surya:

Morning, Aunt!

(Surya kisses Dinda on top of her head.)

Surya:

Morning, Uncle!

(Surya kisses Joko on top of his head.)

Joko:

Oho!
Something’s gotten into you!

Dinda:

I’ve never seen you so happy.
What’s going on, Surya?

Surya:

Okay…
I have big news for you guys.
Oh wow, I’m so excited!
Okay, okay, let’s all relax first. Make yourselves comfortable and take a seat…
Yes!
Yes, take a seat. That’s a great idea!
Uncle! Aunt! please sit down.

Joko:

We are sitting, boyo.
Why don’t you calm yourself down.

Surya:

Okay, okay.
Yes…

(Surya takes a deep breath.)

Surya:

Ahem.
The day we’ve been waiting for is finally here.
Hehe. I finially found what I have been looking for.

Dinda:

He’s found a special someone!

Surya:

What? Who?!
No!

Joko:

Of course not.
It must be the lab, right?

Surya:

Wait. What do you mean, “of course not”?

Dinda:

Joko:

You finally found out what those sores on your bottom are.

Surya:

Joko:

All that time sitting…

Surya:

I finally found an apartment!
I’m moving out!

(Surya smiles, while Dinda and Joko are shocked. Dinda gets out of her chair and runs up to Surya.)

Dinda:

You’re…moving out?

Surya:

Yes, in a week!
It’s this great place over by the ranch.
Jack has extra space, and he—

Dinda:

How could you do this to us?

(Joko gets up and joins Dinda in front of Surya.)

Joko:

After all we’ve done for you…

Surya:

I…I don’t understand.
This is a good thing!
You’ll have more space.

Joko:

Space to do what?
Wail and lament?

Surya:

I won’t be a burden anymore.
I won’t take your free time anymore and Aunt Dinda, you won’t have to cook for me!

Dinda:

And now he want to take away one of my great joys in life! ^[sic]
Cooking for my nephew!

Surya:

This… this was never meant to be a permanent arrangement.
I need my own space.
I always meant to move out sooner or later.

Dinda:

Like a dagger to the heart!
I… I can’t take it anymore.

(Dinda cries.)

Joko:

Dinda…

(Joko cries. Archie and the player walk into see the scene. Arche starts crying as well.

Surya:

Whoa!
Where did you come from?
Also, why are you crying?

Archie:

I’m crying because everyone else is crying!

Surya:

You guys…
Well, now I’m crying too!

(Surya also cries.)

Event summary	After the previous event, Surya asks for the player's advice.

The event starts when the player enters Fishenships.

Surya:

Player! Player!

Surya:

Player! Just who I want to talk to. Have a minute?

(The player agrees and sits with Surya.)

Surya:

I'm not a very outgoing person, Player.
I also don't like to talk about my personal issues.
But this is... Well, it's big.

Surya:

I could really use your take on it.

(The player is surprised.)

Surya:

You were there when I told my aunt and uncle I was going to move out.

Surya:

You saw how well they took it.

Player:

I could've irrigated my entire farm with all the waterworks.

Surya:

Seriously?
Ahem. Well, this is no time for a joke.

Player:

You'd have thought you were dying, not moving.

Surya:

I know!
To them, it's like the same thing.

Surya:

I just didn't take into account how much family means to my aunt and uncle.
They think I'm abandoning them.

Surya:

Of course, I'm incredibly grateful for all the kindness they've shown me.

Surya:

But I'm an ADULT.
I need my own space too.

Surya:

You know we go to family dinners together?
Parties too. We have game nights, movie nights...

Surya:

A little bit of that is fine. They're family, after all, and I love them.
But it's almost like, by staying under their roof, I'm under some implied obligation.

Surya:

Sometimes, it can be suffocating.

Player:

Have you told them that?

Surya:

I couldn't do that.

Surya:

I thought getting my own place would be the easiest way to just... You know.
Er, ease out of the situation?

Surya:

Then, i could leave without offending them.

Player:

And how did that work out?

Surya:

Not as well as I'd hoped, clearly.

Surya:

I'm getting a headache just remembering it.

Player:

So what will you do?

Surya:

I'll take them to see the apartment.
When they see how amazing it is, they won't be able to stand in my way. Right?

Surya:

(Surya takes a deep breath.)

Surya:

Ehem! I can do this.
I want to do something special for you, Player. I want to show you how special you are to me.
May I?

(The player takes Surya's hand and they begin to dance.)

Surya:

Player...we've been friends for awhile now. Over time, I realize how much more you mean to me.
You're always there, you understand me in ways no one else ever could and you...you make me happy.
You're my best friend, Player. I think I've fallen in love with you...

Player:

I think I'm already there.

Surya:

I love you, Player.

Player:

I only see you as a friend, sorry...

Surya:

Thank you for being honest with me, Player...
