DaySunny or windy weather
Time of day08:00–18:00
Start locationRaja's Coffee Corner
Event summaryRaj gets the farmer a drink on the house.

The event starts when the player arrives at Raja's Coffee Corner.

Raj icon Raj:
Player! Great to see you. What do you want to drink?
Player choice  Player:
Coffee.
Raj icon Raj:
One coffee, coming right up.
Player choice  Player:
Hot chocolate.
Raj icon Raj:
One hot cocoa, coming right up.
Player choice  Player:
Tea.
Raj icon Raj:
One tea, coming right up.
(Raj gives the player what they ordered.)
Raj icon Raj:
Don't worry about it.
Raj icon Raj:
It's on the house today.
Player choice  Player:
Thank you! That's so nice.
Raj icon Raj:
You're very welcome! I need to let my regular customers know I appreciate them, right?
Player choice  Player:
Oh no, I can't accept that.
Raj icon Raj:
You can, and you will! It's just a little token of my thanks for being such a great customer.
(The player stars drinking and likes it.)
Raj icon Raj:
To tell you the truth...the business' a little slow.
Raj icon Raj:
I'm sort of worried. Sometimes I feel like I'm in way over my hear here.
Player choice  Player:
You're doing a great job with the coffee stand.
Raj icon Raj:
Well, thanks... That makes me feel good.
But if you saw my bank account you might not say that!
Player choice  Player:
I know what you mean.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah!
(Raj walks up to the player.)
Raj icon Raj:
Just between us, I'm making enough money to stay in business, but just barely.
How will I ever expand and be successful if I'm barely covering my expenses?
(Raj waves good bye to Anne and Paul.)
Raj icon Raj:
Have a nice day! Thanks for coming to Raja's!
(Raj walks to the table and cleans it.)
Raj icon Raj:
Mayor Connor invited me to join the Starlet Town Chamber of Commerce.
Do you think I should join?
Player choice  Player:
What's that?
Raj icon Raj:
It's a group of business owners who meet once a month at the community center. I don't think my business is big enough, though.
Player choice  Player:
That's a great idea!
Raj icon Raj:
A chamber of commerce can be a great resource for small businesses.
Raj icon Raj:
I figure if I join I can ask for advice.
(Raj and the player walk to the counter.)
Raj icon Raj:
If Raja's is going to grow, I need to start taking this stuff more seriously. I'll join the chamber of commerce!
Raj icon Raj:
Here, let me get you some refill before you go.
(Raj starts refilling the player's mug.)
Raj icon Raj:
But... Umm... In the interest of taking my business more seriously, I think I need to charge you for this one...

Four heart event[]

DayAny
Time of day18:00–22:00
Start locationCommunity Center
Event summaryRaj attends their first Chamber of Commerce meeting.

The player and Raj walk into the Mayor’s Office inside the Community Center. Other townies are seated in front of the podium, while Mayor Connor is standing off to the side.

Raj icon Raj:
Thanks for coming with me to my first Chamber of Commerce meeting, player.
Raj icon Raj:
I don’t know what I’m so nervous! I sell coffee to these people every day. But I’m worried they’ll see through me…
They’ll know I’m not a real business owner like they are.
Player choice  Player:
Don’t think like that! You’re just as legit as they are.
Raj icon Raj:
If you say so…
Player choice  Player:
Well… You can probably learn a lot from them.
Raj icon Raj:
I know! That’s why I’m here, to learn from the experts. I’m going to take lots of notes.
Player choice  Player:
Let’s bounce!
Raj icon Raj:
No!
(Connor walks to the podium.)
Connor icon Connor:
Good evening! Let’s get this meeting started. For our first order of business, I’d like to welcome the newest member of the Starlet Town Chamber of Commerce:
Raj of Raja’s Coffee Corner.
(Raj waves to everyone.)
Raj icon Raj:
Uh… Hi everyone.
Connor icon Connor:
Raj, why don’t you come up to the podium and tell us a bit about yourself and your goals.
Raj icon Raj:
Connor icon Connor:
Go on!
(Raj walks up to the podium.)
Raj icon Raj:
Hi everyone. I know a lot of you already. I have this…um…a little coffee stand outside Fishensips.
Connor icon Connor:
Raja’s Coffee! It’s a wonderful addition to our business district. I get my caffeine fix there every morning.
Raj icon Raj:
Thanks, Connor.
I work hard, and I’m trying to make the cofee stand a success, but I’m having trouble growing my business.
Do any of you have pointers for me?
Connor icon Connor:
Hmm… This sounds worthy of discussion. The floor is open for anyone who wants to speak.
(Antonio stands up.)
Antonio icon Antonio:
I’ll tell you what’s worked for my clothing store, White Flamingo… You have to spend money to make money. It’s the only way to grow!
Raj icon Raj:
Oh… But what fi I don’t have a lot of money to spend?
Antonio icon Antonio:
Doesn’t matter. Take out a loan if you have to! If you’re afraid to take risks, you’ll never succeed.
(Sunny stands up, and looks at Antonio.)
Sunny icon Sunny:
NOW. I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU THERE, ANTONIO. SOMETIMES WE JUST HAVE TO BE CREATIVE WITH WHAT WE’VE GOT.
TAKE THE BEACH SHACK, FOR EXAMPLE. THE WAY I KEEP PEOPLE COMIGN BACK IS BY GETTING CREATIVE WITH THE MENU.
(Raj takes out a notebook and starts writing down.)
Connor icon Connor:
Can you give us an example, Sunny?
Sunny icon Sunny:
EACH SEASON WE OFFER A NEW FISH SPECIAL. PAN-FRIED BLUEGILL IN THE SUMMER, LIME-ROASTED ARAPAIMA IN THE FALL, BAKED LOBSTER TAIL IN THE SPRING.
YOU WANT TO SURPRISE YOUR CUSTOMERS, RAJ.
GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO WITH EACH VISIT.
(Raj nods.)
Raj icon Raj:
Surprise your customers… Baked lobster tail…
(Emma stands up.)
Emma icon Emma:
I think you’re on the right track, Sunny, but some customers are afraid to try new things. You have to ease them into it.
That’s why I like giving out free samples at the taco truck. Let people try before they buy.
If they like it, they’ll be back!
(Luke stands up.)
Luke icon Luke:
We do that at Socket. We let customers try out any gadget they want. Nine times out of ten, they end up buying something.
Raj icon Raj:
But I don’t sell gadgets. I sell coffee.
Luke icon Luke:
Hmm… How about free Wi-Fi, then? Let them play with their gadgets while they’re drinking your coffee!
Connor icon Connor:
These are terrific ideas. Raj, does this give you enough to go on?
Raj icon Raj:
Yes! Thank you all.
Connor icon Connor:
Excellent! Now, on to our next order of business…
(Sam stands up.)
Sam icon Sam:
I got one.
What should I do to customers who keep asking for discount?

Part two[]

DaySunny or windy weather
Time of day08:00–18:00
Start locationRaja's Coffee Corner
Event summaryAfter getting the flyer, the player visits Raj's coffee shop that is now full of customers.

Event opens when the player walks near Raja’s Coffee Corner. At the counter, Connor, Emily, Randy, Chaem and Wakuu are forming a long queue.

Wakuu icon Wakuu:
I’ve never seen so many people here before!
Chaem icon Chaem:
Dude, you’re just mad ‘cause this place isn’t your little secret anymore. Raj has hit the big time!
Raj icon Raj:
Sorry for the wait, everyone! The dragon coffee needs another minute to brew. I’ll be with you all shortly.
Emily icon Emily:
This better be worth it.
Chaem icon Chaem:
We got a flyer in the mail saying that Raj is serving some fancy new coffee. I guess everyone on Coral Island got the same flyer!
(Emily and Randy turn to Wakuu and Chaem.)
Emily icon Emily:
Wow… Printing up those flyers and mailing one to everyone on Coral Island, Raj, must have spent a fortune on advertising…
(Emily and Randy turn back to the face the counter.)
Chaem icon Chaem:
What is Dragon blend, anyway? You’re a scientist. Got any answers?
Wakuu icon Wakuu:
It’s a rare blend coming only from savannah area…picked by special cows.
Chaem icon Chaem:
What does that have to do with coffee…?
Wakuu icon Wakuu:
I don’t know, but it’s delicious! Goes great with muffin. I had it one time in San Franciskyo.
Raj icon Raj:
Okay, Connor, what can I get you?
(The player walks closer to the front of the shop.)
Connor icon Connor:
One cup of dragon blend coffee, please.
Raj icon Raj:
Here you go, Mayor. That’ll be 850 coins.
Connor icon Connor:
Oh my…That’s a little more than I expected. let me just check my wallet…
(Connor pays for the coffee and steps aside. Raj comes out from the counter and walks over to the player, with the barista taking over at the shop.)
Raj icon Raj:
I took Antonio’s advice: spend money to make money. I spent every coin I could scrape together, but it’s going to pay off.
I guess advertising really works!
(Raj and the player turn to watch the shop.)
Emily icon Emily:
One Gesha coffee, please.
Empty icon Barista:
Coming right up. That’ll be 850 coins.
Emily icon Emily:
850 coins! That’s outrageous!
Randy icon Randy:
Did you say 850 coins? I’m not paying that much for coffee!
Chaem icon Chaem:
Dude, 850 coins? Whoa! I don’t think I have 850 on me right now. I need to call my accountant and move around some money.
Wakuu icon Wakuu:
I’ll get it. You can pay me later.
Chaem icon Chaem:
Heh heh heh!
Raj icon Raj:
Wait! I know it’s pricey, but there’s a good reason.
Emily icon Emily:
Let’s hear it, then.
Chaem icon Chaem:
Get out of here! 850?!
Raj icon Raj:
Dragon coffee costs a lot, but it’s totally worth it!
See, these cows…living in a savannah, eat the coffee beans, and their stomach enzymes do something amazing to the beans that competely changes the taste…
The beans move around four different stomachs! So then they spit out the half-digested coffee beans…
Chaem icon Chaem:
Dude, did you say SPIT? This is cow spit coffee?
I’m paying 1000 coins to drink a cup of spit? YUCK!
Wakuu icon Wakuu:
It’s 850…and you’re not paying anything.
Chaem icon Chaem:
Still. That’s wild.
Emily icon Emily:
850 for a cup!
Connor icon Connor:
Oh, um… I’m not feeling so well…
Raj icon Raj:
No, wait! The farmers clean off the beans… It’s perfectly sanitary…
Randy icon Randy:
I’m not in the mood for coffee anymore.
(The queue scatters and people leave, except for Wakuu.)
Raj icon Raj:
It’s good, I promise…
Player  Player:
Maybe the people of Coral Island aren’t quite ready for cow spit… I mean…premium blend Dragon coffee.
(Raj turns to the player.)
Raj icon Raj:

You want this?
(Wakuu walks up to Raj and the player.)
Wakuu icon Wakuu:
I’ll take it.

(Mark pauses while inspecting the menu)

(The player reads the menu.)
Player  Player:
Lobster Tail Latte, Squid Ink Espresso, Carp Cappucino, Seafood Smoothie…

Raj icon Raj:
Hi Suki. Just a minute.
Suki icon Suki:
Can I get a cup for Alice, too?
Raj icon Raj:
Sure, one minute.

Raj icon Raj:

Player choice  Player:
You’re giving out free samples?
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah. Emma was right! Look at this crowd!
Player choice  Player:
So you took Emma’s advice?
Raj icon Raj:
Yep, and she was right! Free samples really work!
Pablo icon Pablo:
I’ll take one for me and one for Rafael.
Raj icon Raj:

Raj icon Raj:

Millie icon Millie:
I hope it was worth the wait.

Raj icon Raj:
Um... I’m out of coffee.
Millie icon Millie:
No coffee?
Joko icon Joko:
They’re out of coffee?
Charles icon Charles:
But what about my free sample?!
Raj icon Raj:
Sorry, folks! I’m going to have to close for the day. I’m all out of coffee!
(Millie, Joko, and Charles walk away, deflated.)
Raj icon Raj:
I’m exhausted, Player. I’ve been busy all day. I haven’t even had a chance to catch my breath!
And the worst part is, I didn’t even make any money today. I gave away all my coffee!
(The player tries to console Raj, patting their shoulder.)

SummaryRaj is thinking about taking up on fishing as a new hobby.

Raj icon Raj:
I’ve been thinking about something lately.
I’ve been dreaming of learning how to fish.
There’s something peaceful about the idea of standing by the water, casting a line, and just waiting for a bite. It seems... calming.
Funny enough, I don’t even like fish — but maybe if I catch one myself, I’ll finally come around.
Player choice  Player:
Fishing sounds like a good idea. It might be just what you need.
Raj icon Raj:
Yep! I’ve been feeling like something’s missing lately, like I’m stuck in a routine.
Maybe fishing is the break I need to clear my mind.
Player choice  Player:
You might not catch anything, but you’ll get some peace and quiet.
Raj icon Raj:
That’s true. It’s not really about the fish, is it?
Honestly, I’d be fine if I didn’t catch anything at all. The quiet... that’s the part that appeals to me the most.
I think I need more of that in my life.
Player choice  Player:
Given your luck with money, those fish are probably safe!
Raj icon Raj:
You got me there!
I might not catch a thing, but hey, it would still be an adventure.
Raj icon Raj:
Still, it’s funny. The more I think about it, the more I realize it’s not about catching fish at all.
It’s about taking a step back from everything and finding some clarity.
Player choice  Player:
You deserve a break, Raj.
Raj icon Raj:
You really think so?
It’s hard sometimes, feeling like you’re constantly running uphill.
But hearing that... it makes me feel a little better.
Maybe I do need to take a step back.
Player choice  Player:
Even a small escape like fishing can make a big difference.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah... exactly. It doesn’t have to be some grand gesture, does it?
Just standing by the water, taking in the quiet... that sounds like all I need right now.
Player choice  Player:
Fishing might not solve your problems, but it’ll help you breathe.
Raj icon Raj:
That’s a good way to put it.
Maybe that’s what I need more than anything — a little room to breathe.
Raj icon Raj:
So, what do you like to do in your spare time, Player?
Player choice  Player:
I enjoy reading. It’s a great way to escape.
Raj icon Raj:
I can see the appeal. Getting lost in a good book... it’s like stepping into another world.
Maybe I should pick up a few books myself.
Player choice  Player:
I spend a lot of time farming.
Raj icon Raj:
Well, duh! You’re a farmer! What did I expect?
Player choice  Player:
Mostly, I try not to spend all my money on your coffee shop!
Raj icon Raj:
Touché! But hey, if you ever run out of funds, I might just starting accepting IOUs!
Raj icon Raj:
I like you, Player. You seem cool!
Okay, enough flattery, let’s go back to this whole fishing thing.
There’s just one tiny problem... I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.
I mean, I get the general idea — cast a line, wait for a fish to bite, right?
But the more I think about it, the more I realize there’s probably a bit more to it than that.
Like, where do even you get the bait?
So, I thought... maybe you could help me?
You’ve got experience with this sort of thing, right?
I could really use a few pointers before I make a complete fool of myself at the lake.
Player choice  Player:
I’d be happy to teach you the basics. It’s really not that hard.
Raj icon Raj:
Thank you!
I’ve been reading about it, but there’s only so much you can learn from a book, you know?
Player choice  Player:
First thing you need to know is that fishing takes patience. Lots of it.
Raj icon Raj:
I think I can handle that. I just hope the fish are as patient with me as I’ll try to be with them.
Player choice  Player:
First tip: Whatever you do, don’t fall in the lake. Trust me.
Raj icon Raj:
Noted! Falling into the lake is officially off the to-do list.
Raj icon Raj:
Maybe with your help, I’ll actually manage to catch something.
Who knows, maybe I’ve got a hidden talent for fishing!
So tell me, where do you even get the bait?
Player choice  Player:
You can get it from the beach shack. They sell everything you’ll need.
Raj icon Raj:
Ah, that makes sense! I’ll talk to Sunny and pick up whatever he recommends for a beginner like me.
At least I won’t have to dig through the lake for worms.
Player choice  Player:
You can actually dig for bugs yourself. Nature provides the best bait!
Raj icon Raj:
Wait, seriously? Just dig them up?
I think I’ll see if Sunny has some for me to buy.
Player choice  Player:
Bait? Oh, I just charm the fish. No bait needed!
Raj icon Raj:
Ha! Now there’s a technique I could get behind!
Raj icon Raj:
So, we’ve got the bait down. What should I worry about next?
Player choice  Player:
Your beard! Make sure to oil it, or the wind will have it looking unruly.
Raj icon Raj:
Good point!
Player choice  Player:
Do you even have a fishing rod?
Raj icon Raj:
Yep, Captain Wataru gave me his old one. I’ll just use that, save some money.
Player choice  Player:
Bring coffee! It’s going to be a long day.
Raj icon Raj:
Yes! There’s no way I’m heading out there without a thermos full of my best brew.
Raj icon Raj:
Alright, we’ve got the bait, we’ve got everything else... I think I’m ready to head out and fish sometime this week.
You’ve really given me something to look forward to.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt excited about something like this. It feels awesome!

SummaryRaj shares their experience after trying fishing for the first time.

Raj icon Raj:
So, guess what? I finally went fishing down at the pier! And... it was quite the experience.
I actually caught a few fish — salmon, I think?
At least I thought they were salmon.
Is it even salmon season? Maybe it wasn’t salmon at all. I’m still not sure!
But hey, I had a lot of fun out there. It was nice, being by the water, just waiting for that little tug on the line.
Even though I somehow managed to get sunburnt... which I wasn’t expecting at all.
Yeah, I definitely didn’t plan for that. I came back looking like a lobster instead of a fisher.
But the real kicker? Even after catching those fish, I still didn’t want to eat them.
I brought them back to the inn, stared at them, and nope. I put my hands up — I couldn’t do it.
I don’t think fishing is for me after all.
Player choice  Player:
At least you had fun! That’s the important part.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, you’re right. I had a blast, sunburn and all.
Player choice  Player:
Wait... you’re not even sure if it was salmon?
Raj icon Raj:
What difference does it make anyway? Ha ha ha!
Player choice  Player:
So... sunburn and fish you don’t want to eat. Sounds like quite the adventure!
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, it was an adventure, alright!
Who knew fishing could be so complicated? Between the sunburn and the questionable fish, I learned a lot.
Raj icon Raj:
So, tell me, Player. Where do you usually fish?
Player choice  Player:
There’s a quiet lake not far from here. It’s a great place to fish.
Raj icon Raj:
Oh, yes! The lake!
Player choice  Player:
The riverbank near the school is great for fishing. The current brings in a lot of fish.
Raj icon Raj:
Oh, yes! The lake!
Player choice  Player:
Honestly? The pier is still one of the best places. Lots of people swear by it.
Raj icon Raj:
The pier, huh? I guess I didn’t give it enough credit!
Raj icon Raj:
You sound like the ultimate fisher! Too bad it wasn’t for me.
I’ll stick to brewing coffee for now, but hey, at least I gave it a shot!
I don’t regret it, though. Even if fishing’s not really my thing, it was a nice change of pace.

SummaryRaj talks about how they became to understand their identity.

Raj icon Raj:
I came across an old picture of me and my parents this morning. I must’ve been six or seven years old.
I don’t remember when it was taken, but I remember the feeling. I could feel it, you know? I remember feeling confused about who I was... even then.
It wasn’t always easy for me to understand my identity.
For the longest time, I thought there was something wrong with me.
I didn’t quite fit in anywhere, and it was... confusing.
Player choice  Player:
What helped you realize you were nonbinary?
Raj icon Raj:
It wasn’t one single thing. It was more like... a lot of little moments adding up.
There were times when I didn’t feel comfortable with the labels people tried to put on me.
Then, I started learning more about gender and realized... I didn’t have to fit into those boxes.
When I found the term ‘nonbinary,’ it just clicked.
Player choice  Player:
That must have been a tough journey for you.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, it was. There were times when I felt lost, like I didn’t belong anywhere.
But as I learned more about myself, I realized that it was okay to be different.
I didn’t have to fit into the traditional ideas of gender.
And that’s when I started feeling more at peace.
Player choice  Player:
You’ve always been ahead of the curve, huh?
Raj icon Raj:
Ha! I don’t know about that. There were times when I felt lost, like I didn’t belong anywhere.
But as I learned more about myself, I realized that it was okay to be different.
I didn’t have to fit into the traditional ideas of gender.
And that’s when I started feeling more at peace.
Raj icon Raj:
At first, it was hard to accept. I wondered if people would see me differently, or if they’d think I was strange.
But I came to realize that it didn’t matter what others thought.
What mattered was being true to myself.
Player choice  Player:
How did you feel once you embraced it?
Raj icon Raj:
Relieved. It was like a weight had been lifted.
I didn’t have to pretend to be something I wasn’t anymore. I could just... be me. And that felt amazing.
Player choice  Player:
It must have been freeing to finally live as your true self.
Raj icon Raj:
It was. I didn’t realize how much I’d been holding back until I let go.
Player choice  Player:
Sounds like it’s been a pretty epic journey of self-discovery!
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, I guess you could call it that!
It definitely wasn’t easy, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
Learning about myself, embracing who I really am... it’s been one of the most important parts of my life.
Raj icon Raj:
Thanks for listening. It’s... not always easy to talk about, but I feel lucky to have people in my life who accept me for who I am.

SummaryRaj shares their bad date story.

Raj icon Raj:
What should we talk about?
Player choice  Player:
Bad dates!
Raj icon Raj:
Oh yes! I have a few of those.
Player choice  Player:
The weather.
Raj icon Raj:
That doesn’t sound very fun.
Let’s talk about bad dates instead.
Player choice  Player:
You.
Raj icon Raj:
Oh! Ha ha ha! Okay, let’s see... how about a bad date story?
Raj icon Raj:
Let me tell you about the one with iguana!
I went on a date with this guy, and let’s just say, it didn’t go exactly as planned.
So, do you want to hear about how this trainwreck unfolded?
Player choice  Player:
Of course! I need to hear this.
Raj icon Raj:
Alright, get ready. So, it started off fine, you know?
We met at the restaurant, things seemed okay... then, halfway through the meal, he starts talking about his pet iguana.
Which, hey, no problem, right? Except he kept calling him his ‘soulmate.’
By the end of the night, I knew more about this iguana than I did about him!
Not just that...
At one point, he started interrogating me about my financial situation — right in the middle of dinner!
Player choice  Player:
Wait, a bad date? You? No way!
Raj icon Raj:
Oh, believe me, it happened. I thought it was going to be a nice, normal evening, but nope.
At one point, he started interrogating me about my financial situation — right in the middle of dinner!
Player choice  Player:
Let me guess, you spilled coffee on them?
Raj icon Raj:
I wish that were the worst of it! No, this was much more awkward than that.
At one point, he started interrogating me about my financial situation — right in the middle of dinner!
Raj icon Raj:
I guess telling him I run a coffee shop wasn’t impressive enough for his standards.
It got worse, though. We were wrapping up, and I tried to pay for dinner, you know... it was me who invited him to dinner.
He looked at me and said, “So, you’re broke, right?”
Player choice  Player:
Wow, that’s... really blunt. I’m sorry, Raj.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, blunt is one way to put it. But hey, it’s better to know now than later, right?
Player choice  Player:
Well, at least now you have a funny story to tell!
Raj icon Raj:
Exactly! But hey, it’s better to know now than later, right?
Player choice  Player:
So, no second date then?
Raj icon Raj:
Not a chance. I think I’ll pass on that one.
Raj icon Raj:
I guess running a coffee shop doesn’t scream ‘millionaire’ to everyone.
I mean, he wasn’t wrong. I’m broke as heck!
Player choice  Player:
Money is overrated anyway.
Raj icon Raj:
Exactly! That’s the spirit.
Sure, money can buy a lot of things, but it doesn’t buy happiness — or a great fishing story, for that matter.
Player choice  Player:
You’re rich... at heart.
Raj icon Raj:
Ha! I’ll take that. Rich at heart — now that’s something I can proudly claim.
Player choice  Player:
(Say nothing.)
Raj icon Raj:
Money is overrated anyway, right?
Raj icon Raj:
At the end of the day, I’m just glad I’ve got good people around me.
Broke or not, I think I’m doing okay.

SummaryRaj talks about their hometown, San Franciskyo.

Raj icon Raj:
Aah... San Franciskyo... I really miss that place sometimes.
It’s where I grew up, and there’s just nothing quite like it.
Player choice  Player:
San Franciskyo? Tell me more!
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, it’s this incredible blend of the old and the new.
One minute, you’re walking past ancient temples, and the next, you’re in a sleek cafe where robots are brewing your coffee.
Player choice  Player:
Do you miss it a lot?
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, I do sometimes. There’s something about it that just stays with you, you know?
I grew up there, so it’s always going to be a part of me.
But I’ve found my rhythm here too, and there are things I really enjoy about this place.
Player choice  Player:
With a name like that, it sounds like something out of a movie!
Raj icon Raj:
Ha ha ha! Right?!
Raj icon Raj:
But there’s one thing I can never forget about San Franciskyo... all the coffee shops.
I swear, there’s one on every corner. Coffee’s like a way of life there.
Player choice  Player:
That sounds like paradise for a coffee lover like you!
Raj icon Raj:
Exactly! It’s basically where my obsession with coffee started.
You could spend the whole day hopping from one cafe to the next, and each one has its own vibe.
That’s actually what inspired me to open my own place here — bringing a little taste of San Franciskyo with me.
Player choice  Player:
So... basically like here but ten times more coffee shops?
Raj icon Raj:
Pretty much! Over there, coffee is practically an art form.
Every shop offers something a little different. It’s kind of overwhelming at first, but in the best possible way.
Player choice  Player:
You’re probably spoiled for choice! No wonder you’re a coffee expert.
Raj icon Raj:
Yeah, I guess you could say that! It’s hard not to become a coffee connoisseur when you grow up surrounded by so many shops.
Every shop offers something a little different. It’s kind of overwhelming at first, but in the best possible way.
Raj icon Raj:
But, you know... there’s something about Coral Island that I love.
It’s not as bustling, but that slower pace — it feels good.
Oh... besides, San Franciskyo’s cool all year round.
I used to love it, but sometimes I think I don’t miss the constant chill as much as I thought I would.
Player choice  Player:
Yeah, it’s nice to have some warmth here, right?
Raj icon Raj:
Definitely. There’s something about feeling the sun on your face while sipping a good cup of coffee.
San Franciskyo was beautiful, but it always felt like winter was around the corner.
Here? You can enjoy a sunny day whenever you want.
Player choice  Player:
So... maybe Coral Island has you hooked after all?
Raj icon Raj:
Maybe it does! There’s a certain charm about this place, you know?
Player choice  Player:
You’re just saying that because you don’t have to wear a million layers here!
Raj icon Raj:
Busted! Okay, you got me. Not having to deal with cold winds is definitely a plus.
Raj icon Raj:
I’m really starting to think Coral Island is where I’m meant to be.
And friends like you make it even better.

SummaryRaj talks about their least favorite drink.

Raj icon Raj:
You know, we’ve never talked about this before, but... what’s your favorite drink?
Player choice  Player:
I love a good herbal tea. It’s so relaxing.
Raj icon Raj:
Herbal tea, huh? That’s a good choice!
There’s something about it that just calms the mind.
Player choice  Player:
Honestly? Nothing beats a good cup of coffee.
Raj icon Raj:
Ah, a fellow coffee lover! I knew I liked you.
Player choice  Player:
Water. Hydration’s important!
Raj icon Raj:
Can’t argue with that! Water’s probably the healthiest choice out of all of them.
It’s the perfect balance. Coffee to wake you up, water to keep you going.
Raj icon Raj:
As for me, well, no surprises here — coffee is definitely my go-to.
It’s in my blood at this point! I can’t start the day without it.
Player choice  Player:
Is there any drink you actually hate?
Raj icon Raj:
Oh, definitely! There’s this drink called jamu. It’s supposed to be super healthy, but it tastes horrible!
Frank sells them if you wanna try!
Player choice  Player:
There must be something even you don’t like.
Raj icon Raj:
Oh, definitely! There’s this drink called jamu. It’s supposed to be super healthy, but it tastes horrible!
Frank sells them if you wanna try!
Player choice  Player:
(Say nothing.)
Raj icon Raj:
Okay, now let’s talk about drinks that taste terrible!
There’s this drink called jamu — it’s supposed to be great for your health, but honestly, it tastes awful!
Frank sells it if you’re feeling brave enough to give it a shot!
Raj icon Raj:
It’s one of those things you drink because it’s good for you, not because it tastes good.
Maybe one day I’ll get used to it... or maybe not.
Player choice  Player:
We should make jamu together sometime! Could be fun.
Raj icon Raj:
Wait, what? You want to make jamu... together?
Oh, um... I mean, sure, that sounds... fun!
Like another date?
Player choice  Player:
Maybe we could try making jamu together... you know, for fun.
Raj icon Raj:
Together? Like, you and me making jamu?
I wasn’t expecting that, but hey, why not?
Wow, I didn’t think we were planning another date already...
Player choice  Player:
Next date idea: we tackle jamu together! Who knows, maybe it’ll taste better that way.
Raj icon Raj:
Next date? Oh, uh... I didn’t think we were talking about a next date already!
Yes! That sounds amazing!
Raj icon Raj:
Well... now I’ve got something to look forward to!
Jamu might not be the best-tasting drink, but with you there, I think I can handle it.
Next time, it’s jamu and coffee. How’s that for an adventurous mix?
