The pickaxe is a tool used to break stones, rocks, and meteors on the farm and in the cavern. It can also be used to remove tilled soil, weeds, crops, placed farming or artisan equipment (including sprinkler with attachment) or traps that is currently not producing. Currently pickaxe can't be used to remove taps that are attached to trees or ultimate scarecrow with skin.
The pickaxe can be upgraded at Sanchez Brothers Blacksmith and enchanted at Giants village. An upgraded pickaxe deals more damage per hit and allows the player to break bigger and tougher rocks.

All pickaxes consume 3 energy per use if they hit a breakable material or 1 energy if the hit fails. However, higher level pickaxes do more damage per hit, allowing the player to spend their energy more effectively. Leveling the Mining mastery and gaining Mining Proficiency also reduces the energy cost per use.
