The ocean is the large body of water in which Coral Island is situated. It is home to a wide variety of corals, fish, and other sea life, as well as the rumored location of a merfolk kingdom, that the player may come across while fishing or diving.
Depth[]
The ocean is divided into five zones based on their depth and walled off from each other by black growths caused by the oil spill. As the player restores the area by collecting solar orbs and activating the beacons, access to greater depths is unlocked.
Se Pulu (10m)[]
When diving for the first time, the player starts out in the shallowest part of the 10-20m zone. Bronze kelp can be gathered here once some of the trash is cleared.
The 10-20m zone is further divided into four areas (listed counter-clockwise from upper left):
- Natural Area
- Herding Area
- Orchestra Area
- Jellyfish Area
Dua Pulu (20m)[]
After activating 20 beacons in the 10-20m zone, the player is able to move on the 20-30m zone. Silver kelp can be gathered here once some of the trash is cleared.
The 20-30m zone is further divided into four areas (listed counter-clockwise from left):
- Seahorse Area
- Herding Area
- Orchestra Area
- Kelp Forest
Merfolk Kingdom (30m)[]
After activating beacons in the 20-30m zone, the player is able to move on the 30-40m zone. This zone is entirely occupied by the Merfolk Kingdom.
Empat Pulu (40m)[]
After passing through the Merfolk Kingdom, the player is able to move on the 40-50m zone. Gold kelp can be gathered here once some of the trash is cleared.
The 40-50m zone is further divided into six areas (listed counter-clockwise from bottom):
- Unnamed Area 1
- Unnamed Area 3
- Yoga Retreat
- Unnamed Area 5
- Mid Area
- Orchestra Area
Lima Pulu (50m)[]
After activating beacons in the 40-50m zone, the player is able to move on the 50-60m zone. Osmium kelp can be gathered here once some of the trash is cleared.
The 50-60m zone is further divided into five areas (listed counter-clockwise from bottom):
- Unnamed Area 1
- Orchestra Area
- Unnamed Area 4
- Mid Area
- Unnamed Area 5
