- (He turns to Betty to introduce her.)
- Noah:Mom, this is Player. You two have met, I'm sure? Player is the new farmer at that lot, Mom.
- Betty:How do you do, dear?
- Noah:Mom and I are stretching a bit. I have some free time today, so what the heck? I figured I'd take her here.
- Player:It's good to stretch.
- Betty:That's true. But it isn't fun doing it alone. Thankfully, Noah doesn't mind keeping me company.
- Player:Are you guys stretching the whole day?
- Betty:Oh, no, dear..
- Noah:I wish I could stay longer. I have some things that I have to do after this...work stuff.
So, I think 30 more minutes and then we head home. Yeah, Mom?
Player, join us!
- (The player raises their hands.)
- Noah:There you go! Hahaha!
Noah, Betty, and the player start doing stretches together as the event ends.

Hah hah! Kidding! What's up? Whatchu got there, Player? - (The player hands over the requested flowers.)
- Frank:Wow! Hey, Noah! Come here quick!
- Noah:Yup! Just a sec!
- (Noah runs over to join Frank and the player from offscreen.)
- Noah:Hey! You got my request. What do we owe you?
- Frank:Hang on...we don't owe anything.
You're asked Player for a couple flimsy flowers you can easily get near the lake.
Oh...no offense, Player.
These flowers are great. - Noah:Yeah, well...I am busy, Frank. I could use help getting those flowers.
If it's so easy to get those flimsy flowers, why don't you go and get them yourself next time, then bro? - Frank:Hah hah! Walked right into that one, didn't I?
All right, nevermind. Thanks for your help, brother mine.
And you too, Player.
Thank you, and I believe we owe you these! - Noah:Sorry about Frank. He's a cheap-o...
- Frank:Hey, come on now! I was just kidding!
- Noah:Anyway, thanks for the flowers, Player. We really appreciate it.

- (The player enters and stops at Millie's desk.)
- Millie:Hi, Player!
- (The player walks over to Noah.)
- Noah:Hey, you! What are you doing here?
- Player:Shh! Keep it down. Millie might kick us out!
- Noah:Oops! Yes, very true.
- Player:Er, looking for books.
- Noah:Hah hah! Of course. I guess it was just a nice surprise to see you here, that’s all.
I didn’t startle you, did I?
- (Millie gets up and starts walking around her desk.)
- Noah:–Oh, hey, Millie!
- (Millie walks over to Noah and the player.)
- Noah:Sorry to hold you up on your way out. I’m looking for information about the Giggling Fairy.
Do you know of any books in particular?
- Millie:Hmm. I don’t recall off the top of my head. But feel free to look in the new arrivals section if you want.
- Noah:Awesome! Let’s check it out, player!
- Millie:Follow me.
- (Everyone walks over to library section B.)
- Millie:This section might have what you’re looking for.
There’s more in these boxes. Just don’t make a huge mess, okay?
- Noah:Got it! Thanks, Millie!
- (Millie leaves.)
- Noah:So, yeah, where was I?
Oh right! The Giggling Fairy article!
Ah, sorry! I got distracted.
So this guy woke up around three in the morning.
That’s the time the Giggling Fairy always comes out, you see.
He woke up because he heard a disturbing giggle. He saw a green light in his garden and went out to chase it!
How wild is that?
I would have just stayed inside and taken a picture from my window.
This isn’t the first I heard about this Giggling Fairy phenomenon.
It happened another time to a Lady on Turtle Island!
That time, the clock struck 3 am, and she said the giggling was deafening. It shook her.
She followed the sound, and there was green light everywhere!
She said she saw a fairy sitting on a branch, swinging her legs, and then the lady passed out.
Now I must admit…that’s really odd.
I’ve been trying to find out more of the story, but I don’t think there are many articles about it. Hmm.
Maybe I can go to Alice.
See if she’s found anything about it.
- Player:The Giggling Fairy, huh? That’s…errr…interesting.
- Noah:I know, right? Working at the Tavern sure sounds dull compared to reading these articles.
- Player:So, this is what you do in your free time?
- Noah:Yeah, Alice and I usually hang out and talk about all the weird things that happen in the world.
- Noah:The Giggling Fairy, flying saucers, giant crops, three-headed whales… You name it! I try to read about as many phenomena as possible.
- (The player is shocked.)
- Noah:Yeah! Three-headed whales!
Quite a shocker, huh? Let me tell you more about it.
Hmm, but first, let’s grab some books and sit down. We can talk and read together if you want.
I’ll make us some hot tea.
(The player nods, and Noah leaves.)
Five heart event[]
| Day | Any |
| Time of day | 14:00– |
| Start location | Fishensips |
| Event summary | After the previous event, Noah is talking about the Giggling Fairy with Betty and invites the player to join in. |
Noah and Betty are sitting in the TV area upstairs at Fishensips. As the event starts, the player walks in.
- Noah:Hey, Player! Come, come. Sit with us.
- Betty:Welcome, dear.
- Noah:Perfect timing, by the way. The news is just about to start. It’s about the Giggling Fairy phenomenon!
- Betty:Noah, you and your fascination with strange and bizarre things…
- Noah:Oh, come on, Mom!
Do you honestly think it’s nothing even though there’ve been so many sightings over the years?
- Betty:Noah, the Giggling Fairy is just one of those things people believe in, but nobody ever really sees it.
Maybe it was just birds. Nobody knows for certain.
- Noah:Maybe.
But certainly, something is out there!
- Betty:Ah, just take care of your health and don’t lose sleep over it, okay?
- Noah:Heh heh! Okay, Mom.
- Betty:We have some food in the fridge, player.
If you’re hungry, please help yourself, dear.
- (The player nods.)
- Betty:Well, I’m going to get some rest. You kids have fun.
Son, please get a drink for player, will you?
- Noah:All right.
- (Betty gets up and goes to her room.)
- Noah:What would you like, Vivi? Tea? Coffee? Orange j–
- (The TV makes noise.)
- Noah:Oh! The news has started!
Ah, bummer. They’re reporting on the Giggling Fairy like it’s some kind of rare bird sighting, again.
- (The player is confused.)
- Noah:You remember the Giggling Fairy?
That time we were at the library, reading articles and looking for more info about it?
A lady saw green lights and heard loud giggling and all… - (The player sweatdrops)
- Noah:Errr, right… I was the one reading up on it. Hah hah hah!
So anyway, they said it was just some sort of bird.
- Player:What about the lady? The one who saw the Giggling Fairy?
- Noah:She was shaken up at first, but when she was interviewed, she admitted she didn’t know what she saw.
She said it was late at night. She was half asleep and all.
- Player:Well, what do you think?
- Noah:Ah, honestly, I’m not surprised.
- Noah:I saw that one coming from a mile away.
I had a feeling it would just be a bird. Ha ha. I still enjoyed the mystery, though.
By the way, wouldn’t it be cool if for once, these mysteries turned out to be something…out of the ordinary?

- (The player hands the wood to Noah.)

- Noah:Player! Quick, help me carry her to the clinic!
- (Betty, Noah, and the player meet Charles at the clinic.)
- Charles:Take it easy for today. A sprained ankle from the fall...
Maybe just rest for a week or so. Let the swollen part heal before you walk around too far, okay? - Betty:All right...
- Charles:How are you feeling, Betty?
- Betty:I am feeling fine doc.
- Noah:No, Mom. You need to rest.
- Betty:Haiih, I will rest.
But don't worry too much about me. I only slipped. I'll be fine. - Charles:Yes, that's good that you feel fine...
But you do need to rest.
If you don't have any questions, I will go now and give you folks some privacy. - Noah:Thanks doc!

- Noah:TBA
- Player:You're never alone, whatever you're going through.
- Noah:Thanks... I am feeling a bit down today.
I can use some company right now.
- Noah:I have been thinking about that time my mom fell in the kitchen and sprained her ankle.
She's so old now and with all of my siblings away, left the house...
Not giving a...
Err...
I am the last hope to take care of her.
I just don't think I can ever leave her and make her live at the tavern alone.
What if it happened again? And nobody was there...
What if she fell and this time.
- Player:I'm so sorry, you feel sad today... I don't know what to say.
- Noah:TBA
- Player:Betty is still very young and healthy.
- Noah:Yeah...
- Noah:Thanks for listening to me.
I think I will make sure that she never misses her check-up appointment.
That's the only thing that I can do for now. No use pondering on the future...
Hey, you up for some dinner?
- (The player nods.)

- Noah:Oh, yeah... Everything is fine.
- Player:Morning! Wanna come in?
- Noah:No thanks. I don't wanna intrude.
- Noah:Anyway, I was just making some eggs earlier and made too much.
So I thought I would bring some for you.
- (Noah hands over the eggs to the player.)
- Noah:That's it actually. Well, bye-bye now.
- (The player waves at Noah.)
- Noah:What's up?
- Player:Are you busy today?
- Noah:Nothing. I have absolutely nothing to do...
Nowhere to be.
Let's go somewhere for your breakfast.
- (The player nods and they go to the Lookout.)
- Noah:...
- Player:So, a leftover for me, huh? Hah hah.
- Noah:Hah hah... Not like that at all.
- Player:So, you're thinking about me this morning?
- Noah:Hah hah! Yes, actually.
- Player:The egg is good.
- Noah:Ah, thanks.
- Noah:Err... Funny thing.
So this morning when I woke up, I was thinking about how we first met.
I thought you were pretty cool.
- (The player is surprised.)
- Noah:Err... Feel free to say no, but...
What do you say about having a proper dinner with me?
Like a date...
I won't cook. Don't worry!
Hah hah... I will get some take-out...
And make sure that we have a good time.
- Player:Let's do it!
- Noah:Really? Cool!
I'll mail you the details.
You know, I always feel like there's something between us. A spark or something.

The food isn’t ready yet. We can watch tv and wait, what do you think?
- (The player nods, and they head over to the couch together.)

I’m just heating up some soup.
I commissioned Sunny to make some meal for us...
I hope you like seafood.
Hey... Err...
I really like spending time with you.
You’re smart, funny, and really cute...

| Summary | Noah talks about how smelly Frank is. |
- Noah:Hey, so...I’ve got a bit of a problem. It’s kind of awkward, actually.
It’s about Frank. Lately, he’s been...well, kind of smelling bad.
- Player:Uh-oh!
- Noah:Gah! I know, right?!
- Player:Frank?!
- Noah:Gah! I know, right?!
- Noah:It’s not even new, actually.
A few days ago, I started noticing this weird smell...thought it was some new cheese we brought in or something.
But nope. This morning, I walked past Frank and — don’t ask me why — I took a deep breath, and...yep, that was it. Frank.
Kind of like a wet sock.
- Player:You should just be direct with him. He’s your brother, he can take it.
- Noah:I know, I should...
I don’t want to hurt his feelings, and it’s not like he means to, you know?
- Player:Maybe you can drop some hints? Buy him some new soap or something.
- Noah:I’ve thought about that.
But knowing Frank, he’d probably just think it’s a nice gift and miss the hint completely.
- Player:You could leave a deodorant on his desk with a note: ‘From a concerned citizen.’
- Noah:Ha ha ha! That would definitely get his attention.
But he’d probably think it was some kind of prank... maybe not the best approach.
- Noah:The thing is, it’s not just be who’s noticed.
Some of the staff mentioned it too... well, by ‘staff’, I mean my sister, Aaliyah.
- Player:Why don’t you just ask your mom to handle it?
- Noah:Come on, I’m not a kid! I can handle this...
I just... don’t really know how.
- Player:Don’t tell him. Maybe it’ll pass.
- Noah:Not tell him?! And have him continue smelling like a wet sock?
I have to work with this man every day, Player!
- Player:Have Aaliyah deal with it.
- Noah:She called dibs on telling me first, so now I’ve gotta deal with it.
- Noah:I know it’s something I have to talk to him about...
I just don’t want to make things awkward between us.
How should I do it?
- Player:Just be honest with him.
- Noah:You’re right. I’ve got to be honest.
- Player:Maybe make it more of a friendly chat than a criticism.
- Noah:Yeah, I’ll try to keep it light.
- Player:If he takes it badly, at least you can say you tried. And maybe bring some air fresheners next time.
- Noah:Oh, you’re a funny one!

| Summary | Noah practices with Player how to talk to Frank about his smell. |
- Noah:Okay, I need your help.
I need to practice how I’m going to tell Frank about...you know, the smell.
It’s weird, but I’ve got to do it right. Ready?
Hey Frank...so, uh...I’ve noticed something lately...
- Player:What’s up, bro? Everything okay?
- Noah:Yeah, everything’s fine!
Well, mostly fine...it’s just...uh, how do I say this?
You’ve been kind of smelling a bit off lately, and it’s starting to get noticeable.
- Player:I have noticed things too lately.
- Noah:Okay, Frank... listen up.
I’m not trying to embarrass you or anything, but... maybe freshen up a bit?
- Player:You’re making it sound like you’re telling him bad news. Relax!
- Noah:Ha! It is bad news... for him!
But okay, I’ll try to relax. Let’s give it another go.
- Noah:Okay...okay...take two...
Hey Frank, I wanted to talk to you about something...
It’s kind of awkward, but lately, there’s been this... smell, and I think it’s coming from you.
- Player:That’s better. Now, soften your eyebrows up just a bit.
- Noah:Ha ha! Didn’t even realize I did that.
- Player:Perfect! That’ll get the point across.
- Noah:Really? You think that’s good?
Man, this is harder than I thought!
- Player:Now add in a joke. Lighten the mood!
- Noah:Right, gotta keep it light. Okay, let me try adding a joke.
- Noah:Okay...okay...take three.
Hey Frank, I’ve noticed something lately...it’s like, the smell of a gym locker in here.
Any chance you could, uh...freshen up a bit?
- Player:There you go! That’s perfect.
- Noah:Wish me luck!
- Player:Now you just need to find the right moment.
- Noah:Wish me luck!
- Player:Just don’t chicken out when the time comes!
- Noah:Wish me luck!

| Summary | Noah finally told Frank about the smell. |
- Noah:So, I finally talked to Frank about... you know, the smell.
It went... well, better than I expected, actually.
- Player:Oh? So, Frank didn’t throw a fit?
- Noah:Nope, no fit!
He was surprisingly cool about it.
I think I had him sweating for a minute, though...figuratively and literally.
- Player:I’m shocked. I was expecting more drama.
- Noah:Ha ha ha! I was worried for nothing.
- Player:Well, looks like you live to smell another day.
- Noah:Ha ha ha! You’re funny.
- Noah:He did pit me on my neck for a good hour after I told him, though...
Oh my gosh, my eyes were watering!
I couldn’t eat for the whole day.
- Player:An hour?! That’s intense.
- Noah:Okay, okay...I was exaggerating.
It was more like a minute, but it sure felt like a lifetime!
- Player:You didn’t eat?! That’s serious.
- Noah:Okay, okay... I was exaggerating.
I definitely ate, but it felt like I couldn’t for a while!
- Player:Okay, you’re exaggerating. How long was it, really?
- Noah:Fine, it was like a minute... maybe two.
But it sure felt like a lifetime!
- Noah:Oh, and guess why Frank started smelling in the first place? He was trying out a new deodorant.
- Player:Well, sounds like he picked a winner!
- Noah:Ha! Yeah, a real winner.
- Player:A new deodorant? That’s risky business.
- Noah:Tell me about it!
You’d think he’d test it out before showing up to work with it.
- Player:So, what’s the brand? I need to know to avoid it.
- Noah:Ah, darn! I never asked.
- Noah:Hey, if I ever start...you know, smelling unpleasant, promise you’ll tell me right away.
Don’t let me go down that path!
- Player:Don’t worry, I’ll be brutally honest.
- Noah:Good! That’s what I need—brutal honesty.
- Player:I’ll tell you, but only if you promise not to take it personally.
- Noah:Deal! I won’t take it personally.
- Player:You’ve got my word. I won’t let you turn into ‘wet sock Noah.’
- Noah:Ha ha ha! Cool!

| Summary | Noah talks about a spooky story he read on Wriddit. |
- Noah:Okay, so I was just scrolling through Wriddit the other day and came across this crazy ghost story.
I’m telling you, it gave me chills.
- Player:A ghost story? Really? What happened?
- Noah:Okay...
- Player:Pfft, ghosts? You don’t actually believe in that, do you?
- Noah:Who knows? The world’s a weird place.
- Player:Oh, come on. The only thing spooky on Wriddit is the grammar.
- Noah:Okay, fair!
But hey, this one? It was written well enough to keep me up that night.
- Noah:So there’s this guy who’s been hearing weird noises at night–footsteps, whispers, all the classic spooky stuff.
And one night, he wakesup and sees this shadowy figure standing at the foot of his bed!
How freaky is that?
So, the guy decides to investigate, right? He sets up a camera and tries to catch the ghost in action.
The next morning, he checks the footage, and guess what?
The shadowy figure shows up again – but this time, it’s closer.
- Player:Wait, what? Did he ever figure out what it was?
- Noah:Nope, that’s the creepy part.
He moved out of the house not long after that...smart move, if you ask me.
- Player:Closer? That’s so fake.
- Noah:Maybe, but it’s a good fake.
I mean, come on, you’ve got to admit it’s creepy, right?
- Player:Oh great, now I’m going to be thinking about that all night.
- Noah:Yeah, I couldn’t sleep that night — kept thinking I was hearing things!
- Noah:I mean, I don’t know if it’s true or not, but people come up with some wild stuff on Wriddit.
Makes you wonder if there’s something to it, though...
- Player:You never know. There might be a ghost out there.
- Noah:Yeah! I’m not saying I believe in it, but...I’m not ruling it out, either.
- Player:Nah, people just like to mess with others. It’s all fake.
- Noah:It’s still fun to get freaked out every now and then, right?
- Player:Well, if you ever see a ghost, let me know...I’ll be waiting from a very safe distance.
- Noah:Don’t worry, you’ll be the first to know...from a safe distance, of course.
I’m not getting too close to any ghosts, either!
- Noah:It could’ve been a squatter, but honestly? That’s even worse than a ghost, if you ask me.
I don’t know... I’d rather deal with something supernatural than some random person living in my walls.

| Summary | Noah talks about his favorite fruit. |
- Noah:Oh, by the way, you look really good today.
- Player:Thanks! You're not looking bad yourself.
- Noah:Oh, thank you!
- Player:Oh, stop! You're making me blush.
- Noah:Good! I like seeing you blush. It's cute.
- Player:You're sweet!
- Noah:I'm only telling the truth.
- Noah:Ugh, I had to use yogurt for my breakfast this morning because we ran out of milk.
It tasted horrible! Never again.
- Player:Come on, it's not that bad.
- Noah:I'd rather go hungry than eat that again.
- Player:You should've just skipped breakfast then.
- Noah:Believe me, I almost did.
- Player:Yogurt for breakfast? Living dangerously, huh?
- Noah:Yeah, and I paid the price for it.
- Noah:Okay, so let me tell you-my favorite fruit in the world?
Duriam. Hands down.
I know the scent isn't for everyone, but it's so worth it.
- Noah:You've got to try it sometime.
- Player:I love durian too!
- Noah:You have a great taste!
- Player:I've actually tried it! It's...an acquired taste.
- Noah:That's one way to put it! But hey, at least you've given it a shot.
It's one of those love-it-or-hate-it things.
- Player:Let's agree to disagree on that one.
- Noah:Fair enough! But I'll get you to love it eventually.
Just wait.

| Summary | Noah has sprained his ankle. |
- Noah:Hey... guess what? I sprained my ankle.
Just my luck, right?
- Player:Ouch! How did it happen?
- Noah:Well, I was carrying a box of supplies into the kitchen, didn’t see that the floor was wet...
Next thing I know, I’m on the ground, twisting my ankle.
- Player:You okay?
- Noah:Yeah, I’ll live. I’ve had worse. But walking is definitely a challenge right now.
- Player:Looks like you’ll need a designated walker for a while.
- Noah:Ha! Yeah, maybe I should hire someone to carry me around for the next few days.
- Noah:I can’t believe this happened though... I’ve got a walk planned with Mama tomorrow morning.
And if I don’t go, she’ll just skip the whole thing.
Walking’s good for her.
I don’t want her to miss it because of me.
- Player:Why don’t you just tell her you need to rest?
- Noah:I’ve tried that before... doesn’t work.
She’ll just say, ‘Oh, I’ll wait until you feel better,’ and then she won’t go at all!
She’s stubborn like that.
- Player:Maybe you can suggest she goes with someone else?
- Noah:Hmm... that’s an idea. But I doubt she’d go without me.
She likes our walks together.
Guess I’m her walking buddy for life.
- Player:I hope you feel better soon!
- Noah:Thank you!
- Noah:It’s actually not as hurting as much as it did this morning.
I’m hoping it’ll be okay by tonight, or at least good enough to walk on tomorrow.
I’ve been taking it easy, and maybe that’s helping.
- Player:Want me to give you a massage?
- Noah:Uh... I mean, if you’re offering!
- Player:I should come over and make sure you’re taking it easy tonight.
- Noah:Oh, you want to babysit me now?
Okay, I might need someone to keep me in check... but I promise I’ll rest!
- Player:You’ll be brand new in no time.
- Noah:I sure hope so!
- Player:(Say nothing.)
- Noah:I’ll be back on my feet soon, don’t worry!

| Summary | Noah says he feels a special connection with the player, like twin flames. |
- Noah:It’s a good day today.
- Player:Yeah, the weather’s perfect!
- Noah:Yes! It’s one of those days where everything just feels right.
- Player:Today is special.
- Noah:Yes! It’s one of those days where everything just feels right.
- Player:Well, it’s even better now that I’m here.
- Noah:Yes! It’s one of those days where everything just feels right.
- Noah:That’s what I love about you, babe.
You’re always so positive... always finding the bright side.
I need someone like you in my life... you bring color to it and make everything more fun with your fresh perspective.
So, um... You ever hear about twin flames?
- Player:Yeah, it’s like two halves of the same soul, right?
- Noah:Yes! Two people who are supposed to be mirrors of each other.
It’s intense but kinda cool to think about.
- Player:Nope, what’s that?
- Noah:It’s this idea that there’s someone out there who’s, like, your perfect match.
Not just a soulmate, but someone who reflects you in every way — good and bad.
- Player:Yeah, sounds like double the trouble.
- Noah:Yes! You’re not wrong.
They say twin flames can be challenging, but that’s what makes the connection so powerful.
- Noah:It’s this idea that, out there, somewhere, there’s this one person who’s like... your other half.
They say when you meet your twin flame, it feels like you’ve known them forever.
It’s like a spark, an instant connection... and they push you to be your best self.
- Player:Do you think you’ve met your twin flame?
- Noah:I don’t know.
Maybe. I mean, I’ve met people who’ve made me feel... different.
Like you...
- Player:What if your twin flame is halfway across the world?
- Noah:Then why are you here...
- Player:So, where do I sign up to meet my twin flame?
- Noah:Ha ha ha!
- Noah:Honestly, though... whether or not twin flames are real, I do think some people are just meant to be in your life.
People who make everything better.
- Player:Like you and me?
- Noah:Yeah, I like that idea.
- Player:That’s a nice way of looking at things.
- Noah:Yeah, it keeps things... hopeful, I guess.
- Player:So you’re saying I might be stuck with you?
- Noah:Ha! Yeah, you might be!
- Noah:I hope you don’t think I’m being silly, but... I kinda think we might be twin flames.
Right from the start, it felt like I’ve known you forever.
And the more we talk, the more I feel... at home with you.

- Noah:Hey, babe... you always look amazing, but today... there’s something extra.
I can’t take my eyes off you.
You look good in that outfit.
- Player:You’re too sweet!
- Noah:Only for you.
- Player:You’re making me blush.
- Noah:Good! That’s the plan.
It’s cute when you blush.
- Player:Thank you.
- Noah:You’re very welcome, my darling.
- Noah:You ever think about marriage?
‘Cause I do... especially when I’m with you.
It feels like... this could be something real.
- Player:You really think about us like that?
- Noah:Yeah, I do.
- Player:Marriage, huh? That’s a big step.
- Noah:I know, it’s huge. But with you? It feels... right.
I can see myself sharing a life with you.
- Player:Yes, I feel the same way.
- Noah:I can see myself sharing a life with you.
- Noah:I love you, Player.
I don’t know how I got this lucky, but I’m not letting you go.
- Player:I love you too.
- Noah:That’s all I needed to hear.
- Player:You’d better not! I’m not going anywhere.
- Noah:Good, because I’m planning on keeping you around for a long time.
- Player:(Say nothing.)
- Noah:You’re all I need, Player.
