Harvest Display Contest[]
The player can participate in the Harvest Display contest by placing their farm items in the empty crates at the far right of Alun-Alun Square. The items are not automatically returned at the end of the festival, and the player should remember to collect them before leaving. Players can retrieve their items after the contest by going to the display and selecting "Submit Items" and placing the items back into their Inventory.
The player's Harvest Display is judged by the number of categories the collection of items include, each items' base price, and each items' quality which are all added together to determine the player's final score. This score is then compared to a rival farmer's score for their own display to determine a winner and which prizes they earn. Winning the Harvest Display Contest will earn the player 300 .
Scoring[]
Categories[]
The Display Contest recognizes the six categories mentioned in the Fall 5th invitation letter:
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Flowers
- Coop products (Eggs and feathers)
- Barn products (Milk, truffles, wool, and coffee)
- Artisan products
Including items from the different categories awards Diversity Points. Every category represented in the display awards 6 points each, for a maximum of 36 points.
Sell Price and Quality[]
Individual items added to the display are each scored according to their sell price and their quality, from 1 point for a low-value, base quality item to 25 points for an osmium quality item worth at least 400
. The sell price used for judging refers to the price of the specific item at its quality rather than its base price.Sell Price | - | ||||

After you submit your items the 'Competition Reward' meter will show your total display points below in a blue bubble. If unsure, bring all your best items to the event and experiment with arrangements to get the highest score.
Rival Display[]
As part of the competition element of the Harvest Display, the player is pitted against a rival - Bobby, a farmer from Beluga Bay. Every year, Bobby will bring a selection of produce from his own farm to be scored against the same criteria as the player's with the highest scoring farmer being declared the winner.
Bobby's display items are chosen each year at the start of the festival from one of the following sets. Which set is determined by the in-game year, with his highest scoring sets appearing at year three and remaining there for the rest of the game.
