Betty is retired and spends her days refilling the bird feeders in town, educating kids about coral reefs, and baking pastries.

Betty is one of the characters in Coral Island that the player can befriend. She used to run Fishensips together with her late husband and is now retired.

Personality

Betty is a dutiful wife, mother, and pillar of the Coral Island community. Back in the day, Betty used to run the tavern with her late husband, Frank Sr. Now, she spends her retirement days going around town re-filling bird feeders, educating kids about coral reefs, and baking patisseries.

She worries greatly for the future of the island where her family has lived for generations and of her four children, especially following the loss of her husband.

Betty has a stronger will than her family sometimes gives her credit for, boldly challenging Pufferfish Drilling Corp and its representatives where she can.

Relationships

Betty lives in the upstairs of the Fishensips tavern with her son Noah and daughter Aaliyah. Another son, Frank, lives nearby with his wife Erika and cats Peanut and Butter. Her third son Eddy lives abroad and keeps in touch via letters, though he is prone to forgetting to respond causing a great deal of worry to his family, his mother in particular. Her age and the loss of her husband has left her with a lot of anxiety over keeping her family close and safe, which causes some strain with those of her children who would rather pursue their own dreams.

Betty is a frequent help to Connor in setting up the town's festivals and maintaining the town's gardens. She also teaches the Starlet Elementary School class for Randy on Thursdays, a position she volunteered for after Erika did the same.

Betty is friendly with some of the island's other cooks, bakers, and restaurant owners like Eva, Emma, and Raj, and she's known Alice and Suki since they were young.
