Artifact

Artifacts are valuable ancient items that can be found through various means. Artifacts can be donated to the Museum to complete the collection. Some artifacts can also be used for quests and various tasks.

In addition to being found in coffers, most artifacts can also be purchased at the Black Market for an increased price.

Uses

Each artifact can be donated to the museum once for 3 Museum museum points. Completing donation for all 78 artifacts will also earn 40 Museum museum points as well as unique rewards from museum and Memento Of The Past Memento Of The Past. Artifacts can be duplicated through slime of replication and can also be sold or gifted.

Artifacts are are considered universally neutral gifts.

As of v0.3, artifacts can also be used as fuel for the enchanting system with certain artifacts being worth a set amount of points based on their rarity. A list of all items that can be used for enchanting and their point values can be found on the Enchanting page.

Offering

4 artifacts of any type are needed for the Master Slime section of the Guardian Mural altar.

Coffers

The primary way of obtaining artifacts is opening coffers: the special chests that can be opened at Sanchez Brothers Blacksmith for 20 × 20 per piece. Coffers are a rare drop for clearing trash with a scythe on the island or on the ocean floor, or by tilling soil or sand with a hoe. Rarely, they can be obtained by fishing on the main map as well.
